Business education and training can be helpful for people who are looking for a new career or for those who want to move a step or two up the corporate ladder. There are many types of business courses to take, but what can you do when your bank account’s balance is not near what you need for formal coursework? There are many types of free education and training on the Internet.

One top school, MIT, offers free online courses for both undergraduates and graduates. Its online program allows students to access lecture notes, laboratory demos, and videos that coincide with coursework materials. MIT offers over 50 courses and registration is free.

The United States Small Business Administration offers business courses online. Topics range from finance and business start-up to planning and managing your own business. These no-cost courses can be completed in as little as half an hour. Kaplan University has two online courses that business students can take advantage of. The courses can be counted toward a degree from the university. They educate pupils on a wide range of business-related topics.

The University of California at Berkeley has a fresh selection of business classes every term. These lectured courses may also have audio/video files that students may access for further training. The Financial Management Training Center offers knowledge seekers 20 courses to help students sharpen their business and financial management skills. Online courses ranging from cash flow and capital to project management and business finance can be taken online and may be applied for credit toward continuing education requirements.

With so many free programs, you do not even have to pull out your prepaid credit card to further your education.
